The Brit Awards have confirmed that Sabrina Carpenter will be performing at the ceremony this year, which is taking place at London’s O2 arena on March 1st.

While it is unconfirmed what song the Grammy-award-winning singer will perform, she will also receive the ‘Global Success’ award. She will be the first international artist to win it, following previous recipients Ed Sheeran, Adele, Sam Smith, and One Direction.

Carpenter is also nominated in two categories this year, ‘International Song of the Year’, which would be awarded to her hit ‘Espresso’, and ‘International Artist of the Year’, which she is nominated for alongside Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift, and Beyoncé.

Discussing Carpenter’s ‘Global Success’ win, Damian Christian, Chair of the Brit Committee for 2025, congratulated the singer on her achievement and said, “Everyone involved in the show is looking forward to her performance, which promises to be one of the highlights of the night.”

Carpenter joins previously announced performers Jade, Myles Smith, Shaboozey, Teddy Swims and The Last Dinner Party, who will each take to the stage for a live performance on the night. More acts are expected to be announced in the weeks leading up to the event, which is being hosted by Jack Whitehall. This marks his fifth time helming the ceremony, following stints between 2018 and 2021.

This year is also a particularly special year for female artists, with Charli XCX leading the charge with five nominations, including a ‘Best Album’ nod for Brat.

This will also continue Carpenter’s successful run of late, which included a special appearance at the Grammys, performing alongside Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Doechii, Raye, Benson Boone, Teddy Swims, Shakira, Cynthia Erivo, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Janelle Monáe, St Vincent and Lainey Wilson.

She also won ‘Best Pop Solo Performance’ for ‘Espresso’, ‘Best Pop Vocal Album’ for Short n’ Sweet, and ‘Best Mixed Recording’ for ‘Espresso (Mark Ronson x FNZ Working Late Remix’.
