Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams Share Romantic Moment at 2026 Oscars

Gracie Abrams and actor Paul Mescal made their second red carpet appearance as a couple at Sunday night’s (March 15) 98th annual Academy Awards, and they could not have done it in more glamorous fashion.
Abrams celebrated the occasion with a photo post on Monday night (March 16) that opened with a romantic selfie of Mescal, 30, laying a kiss on her cheek while standing behind the 26-year-old singer. Abrams, who smiled while holding her phone and a glass of champagne, wore a stunning two-piece, midriff-baring outfit. The caption was simple and affectionate: “Love love love.”
The photo carousel also captured Gracie Abrams walking the red carpet outside the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, draped in a sequined Chanel two-piece outfit paired with a long gauzy scarf. Later that evening, she transitioned into a black and silver beaded gown with a plunging neckline and a delicate spider web pattern for the annual star-studded Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
The post concluded with a candid, humorous moment showing the couple reacting in the background as Mescal’s Hamnet costar, Jessie Buckley, learned she had won the best actress Oscar for her role as Agnes, William Shakespeare’s grief-stricken wife.
Though the pair were first linked in 2024 after being spotted grabbing dinner in London, they have largely kept their relationship out of the public eye. Last month, Abrams offered a rare glimpse into their bond when she celebrated Mescal’s 30th birthday with a heartfelt post, featuring photos of the couple kissing and enjoying time together. The pair officially debuted their relationship on the red carpet at the 2026 BAFTA Awards in London on Feb. 22.
Looking ahead, Mescal is preparing for his role as a young Paul McCartney in director Sam Mendes’ upcoming four-part Beatles biopic project, scheduled for release in April 2028. Meanwhile, Abrams is set to make her acting debut in A24’s upcoming film Please, directed by Halina Reijn.
