What is going on dance music fans?! We have an incredible up and coming dance music artist, Ozz Gold, as our newest Artist of the Week, and wanted to share some insight into his young, but currently thriving career. To begin, we wanted to share his record, “Unknown”.

The track has a somewhat melancholic yet lively feel to it. Following the typical four-on-the-floor beat of house music, Ozz’s production stands out with a colourful mix of synths and drums. He cracks the formula for an hit EDM song with his infectious melodies and just the right progressions with “Unknown” – building up tension, playing solid drops and basically taking his audience on a journey with a whole lot of energy!

“What’s great about this track is that it’s one of those songs that just keep giving, with every verse more energetic than the last. Tight percussions, smooth transitions and Ozz’s magic ties all the elements up together here; a fantastic track for a workout or dance playlist!”

Ozz Gold is a Producer & DJ based in Las Vegas. After graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point, Ozz moved to Vegas and started his music career. Transitioning his call from military service to uplifting thousands through music, Ozz finds fulfillment when he looks out at a room of people dancing to his music. He is inspired by both tropical and progressive house artists, such as Kygo and Alesso.

“I use music to express things that I’ve personally experienced. When I make music I get intune with whatever emotions I’m feeling.” “I aim to make happy and hopeful songs that are motivating and uplifting.”

With them as an inspiration, Ozz’s purpose is also to spread love and happiness to all of his listeners. Ozz has performed for audiences in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, and Las Vegas, and recently produced his debut release “Unknown.” Though Ozz’s background is unconventional, he is making a dent in the music space at an extraordinary rate.
