Gavin Adcock has addressed his altercation with Zach Bryan at the Born & Raised festival in Oklahoma on September 13th, claiming Bryan isn’t “a very good person”.

The feud between the two musicians began earlier this year when Adcock took exception to Bryan reportedly ignoring a fan who complained about waiting in the rain for an autograph from him after a concert.

Bryan said of the incident in a now-deleted TikTok comment, “You’re not entitled after someone plays two and a half hours to a picture or a hello. GOMD.”

Adcock then said on Rolling Stone’s Nashville Now podcast, “I think that Zach Bryan puts on a big mask in his day-to-day life and sometimes he can’t help but rip it off and show his true colours.” He also stated, “I don’t know if Zach Bryan’s really that great of a person.”

Then, this weekend at the Born & Raised festival, Bryan performed with Gabriella Rose as a special guest, which Adcock also played at. At the event, Bryan scaled the fence, and can be heard saying in footage which has emerged online by Country Central, “Do you wanna fight like a man? Open the gate.”

Bryan also appeared to say, “If they open up this fucking gate, I will fucking kill you.” To which, Adcock can be heard responding, “Come on over here and meet me with a word of hell, buddy,” and Bryan shouts, “fuck you”.

In a new video titled “Rotten fruit falls on its own”, Adock said of the incident: “Well, like I already said, I don’t think Zach Bryan’s a very good person. He wasn’t locked out of the festival. He had been there all day with his multiple security guards.”

Adcock continued: “He saw me standing between my buses when he got out here, and saw me walk on my bus when I went to watch the Georgia game, proceeded to go to other artists and ask them, ‘Where is Gavin, where’s Gavin,’ and their guests, and treat them like dog shit, flipping them birds and saying, just douchebag stuff.”

The singer-songwriter then claimed Bryan “had plenty of opportunity through the whole day to do whatever he wanted to do, but decided he was going to wait like an hour before my set while I was standing out there.”

He also said, “No artist that cares about their fans is going to fight right before their set, missing going on and disappointing fans that spent way too much money to be there.”

The country singer then laid out his reasons for choosing not to fight, stating, “I don’t think anyone’s scared of Zach Bryan. I’m just an adult, and fighting him would have only meant going to jail, missing my set, and falling into a Zach Bryan lawsuit – and we all know he likes to manipulate people with money.”

Adcock then claimed that Bryan’s “jump over the fence narrative” was designed “to try to make himself look bigger, tougher even though he could have just walked in the gate”.

He concluded by saying, “And at the end of the day, I know my decision I made was right. I didn’t take the Zach Bryan bait, and I’ll be praying for him to get better because he sure needs it.”

Bryan is yet to address the incident or Adcock’s latest comments.
