Australian-born, Stockholm-based indie-folk artist Hazlett has spent years charming millions of fans with a softness that glides like snow. On his third studio record, Last Night You Said You Missed Me, Hazlett conjures a greater sense of distance, a gap which he fills with longing, yearning, and confessional reflection.

When introducing the project to fans, he called the album the “most unpolished version of myself,” hinting at the raw and honest, or in his words the “vacant and untouched” space in life that is ours, and ours alone. Hazlett’s stripped-back candour holds each listener carefully, all too aware of how easy breakage can be.

To invite others into his own world so delicately, Hazlett must first know exactly what his self consists of. The musician has found all of that in Stockholm and, better yet, he’s shared step-by-step how to follow his origins around a city that often appears impenetrable to the touristic eye.

Hazlett doesn’t just suggest the best places to go in the capital that stretches across 14 islands and 57 bridges, but he’s ordered the day out exactly. The only thing you need to do is get yourself there; keep scrolling for a few locals tips and plenty of inside information on one of the most beautiful cities in the world. “My home away from home,” Hazlett brands it.
