The Latest American Idol Elimination Results
The current season of American Idol has been nothing short of dramatic. After an “unprecedented” delay in voting results made headlines last week, host Ryan Seacrest was finally able to reveal the fate of the contestants. During the April 6 episode, three individuals were eliminated from the competition.
The tension reached a boiling point on March 30 when Seacrest shocked audiences by announcing that the voting numbers were too close to call. “To ensure complete accuracy with the numbers, I was literally just told we are not going to announce eliminations tonight,” he explained at the time.

Who Was Eliminated?
During the April 6 broadcast, Julian Kalél, Jake Thistle, and Jesse Findling were officially eliminated. Julian and Jake had been in the precarious position of waiting for results since the previous week’s delay.
“Last week, your votes came in an unprecedented way,” Seacrest told the audience. “We held off on your results to make sure every vote was counted. I’ve got them here in my hand, and we’re about to find out who makes your Top 12. I can tell you that the vote was incredibly close.”
