Amber Heard has given birth to twins: “Elated beyond words”

Amber Heard has announced she has given birth to twins in a social media post celebrating Mother’s Day in the US, saying she is “elated beyond words.”
The actor said that since the birth of daughter Agnes and son Ocean, she has been excited by the “completion” of her family, having previously welcomed her first daughter Oonagh in 2021.
“Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms despite my own fertility challenges has been the most humbling experience of my life,” Heard captioned her Instagram post on May 11th, which showed a picture of her three children’s feet.
Heard added that her family was one she had “strived to build for years,” with motherhood an experience she had chosen “responsibly and thoughtfully” but one that “couldn’t possibly burst with more joy.”
“To all the moms, wherever you are today and however you got here, my dream family and I are celebrating with you,” Heard noted.
Having starred in the films The Rum Diary, Zombieland, and Aquaman, the actor made world headlines when she was married to Johnny Depp from 2015 to 2016.
After the pair divorced, they each accused each other of domestic abuse and thus entered into a stream of lengthy and extremely high-profile defamation cases.
Depp first lost his libel case against The Sun in 2020 after Heard provided evidence to back up the claim that he was a “wife beater,” while separately Heard was found liable for defaming her ex-husband, which saw him awarded damages of $15 million.
Of her subsequent three counterclaims against Depp, Heard was awarded $2 million in compensatory damages in a case in the US state of Virginia in 2022.
