Wet Leg confirm release date for comeback single ‘Catch These Fists’

Wet Leg has finally given fans a glimpse of their comeback single, ‘Catch These Fists,’ and revealed it will arrive next week. The band released a snippet of the song on their social media, marking their first new song in three years.
The band debuted the new single during a small gig in Brighton on March 23rd at the Green Room Store. It was also played in London on March 24th at the Moth Club, along with six other brand-new songs. The sets largely relied upon material from their upcoming second album which is still yet to be formally announced.
On March 25th, Wet Leg shared a clip on their social media, which gives fans an interrupted listen to the new single. They also confirmed in the video that it is “coming next week.” The song is now available to pre-save on streaming platforms.
Wet Leg announced that they would be formally starting this new era of the band with shows in New York and Los Angeles at the Market Hotel and The River, which are set to take place on March 31st and April 8th, respectively.
“Hey there neighbor been a while hasn’t it?” they wrote in the announcement, “why dont u come on down to the bottom of our garden? Its about time we had ourselves a little gathering…just a couple of special nights in NYC US and LA US.”
Significantly, Wet Leg haven’t released any new material since their highly successful self-titled debut, which topped the charts in the United Kingdom, won two Grammy Awards and a Brit Award.
Wet Leg have also confirmed that they will be playing various festivals across the summer, including Glastonbury, Shaky Knees Festival, Wilderness Festival, Radio 1’s Big Weekend, and Trnsmt.
