Sam Fender has confirmed details of a new concert film, Live at London Stadium.
Fender performed at the London venue, which was initially opened for the 2012 Olympics, on June 6th, 2025. More than 80,000 fans were in attendance, making it the biggest headline show of his career.
Now, the concert is set for global release on November 15th, 2025. It is directed by Toby L and Kit Monteith with Up The Game handling production.
In anticipation of the release of Live at London Stadium, Fender has shared footage of ‘People Watching’ from the concert. Notably, the London Stadium date also marked the debut of Olivia Dean joining him for ‘Rein Me In’, which was later re-released featuring her vocals.
Last month, his third album, People Watching, won the Mercury Prize at a ceremony held in his hometown, Newcastle. During his emotional acceptance speech, Fender said, “We are in great company, and I want to say thank you to the person that I never did, to the person that People Watching is about. I want to dedicate it to Annie Orwin.”
The day after his victory on October 16th, Fender celebrated his win by releasing his new single, ‘Talk To You‘, which features Elton John on piano. It is set to appear on the deluxe edition of People Watching on December 5th.
This week, Fender will begin the final leg of his world tour in support of People Watching with six dates planned in Australia between November 14th and November 28th.
During an interview on Apple Music’s Rocket Hour with Elton John in October, Fender pledged to get back to work in the studio once his live commitments are fulfilled, sharing, “I’m going to make another album, I think. I’ve got a load of other songs, so I want to make another record.”
