British musical icon Paul Weller has unveiled details of his new album, Find El Dorado, which is set for release on July 25th, 2025.
In total, Find El Dorado includes 15 tracks that have soundtracked Weller’s life and mean a considerable amount to the former Jam frontman. These include songs such as ‘White Line Fever’ from The Flying Burrito Brothers, ‘Nobody’s Fool’ by The Kinks, and ‘I Started A Joke’ by the Bee Gees.
Weller shared of the new record in a statement: “These are songs I’ve carried with me for years. They’ve taken on new shapes over time. And now felt like the moment to share them.”
Find El Dorado also boasts collaborations with Hannah Peel, Declan O’Rourke, Robert Plant, Seckou Keita, Amelia Coburn and Noel Gallagher.
The former Style Council singer has teased the release of Find El Dorado with two new tracks. He’s shared ‘Lawdy Rolla’, originally by the obscure French studio band called The Guerrillas, and ‘Pinball’, a huge hit for Brian Protheroe in 1974.
Significantly, Find El Dorado also marks Weller’s return to Parlophone Records, which was previously his record label between 2015 and 2019.
Last year, he released his last studio album, 66, which takes its title from his age at the time of its release. In a three-star review, Far Out wrote: “The record is reflective, sentimental, and, in places, spiritual. For the most part, Weller sings with a warm optimism that only meets doubt on a couple of occasions for comparatively introspective ballads.
Weller currently has no shows lined up for this year, but did complete an extensive tour of the UK in late 2024, which included two concerts at the Eventim Apollo.
