With pre-sale for the Oasis reunion tour set to go on-sale on August 30th, the iconic group have extended their deadline for confirming the entry of fans to the ballot.

On August 27th, Oasis shocked the world with the long-awaited news that Noel and Liam Gallagher were set to get the band back together for 14 stadium shows across the United Kingdom and Ireland in 2025. Since then, there has been nationwide worry about securing tickets when they go on general sale on August 31st at 9am.

A portion of tickets will be available to buy on August 30th for those that have been successful in their bid to apply for the pre-sale. However, due to the scale of demand, all of the applications are yet to be processed.

The entry for pre-sale closed at 7pm on August 28th, and many fans are still waiting in the lurch to receive their confirmation email, which the band have now explained.

In a new statement, Oasis said: “Due to a last minute surge in pre-sale ballot entries, a number of confirmation emails are still being processed and sent out. The deadline to confirm your entry has now been extended to 10am BST tomorrow morning (Friday 30th August).”

They continued: “If successful in the ballot, you will be contacted tomorrow by 5pm BST with pre-sale access information. Thank you for your patience.”

The demand for pre-sale has been so vast that Oasis have already announced three additional dates to the tour with further shows added in Manchester, Edinburgh and London.

The run of shows will begin with a two-date residency at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff starting on July 4th before Oasis return home to Manchester to perform five shows at Heaton Park.

The Manchester icons are also booked to headline five dates at Wembley Stadium in London as well as host three concerts at the Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh. Additionally, the Gallagher’s will visit Ireland for a pair of concerts at Dublin’s Croke Park in August.

These upcoming shows will be the only place to see Oasis in 2025 across Europe with the band confirming they won’t appear at Glastonbury despite rumours they were set to headline the Somerset festival. “Despite media speculation, Oasis will not be playing Glastonbury 2025 or any other festival next year. The only way to see the band live will be on their Oasis Live ’25 World Tour.”

Ticket prices are yet to be revealed for the full tour, however, admission for the two shows at Croke Park in Dublin starts at £72.50.

Which band members will be playing in the Oasis reunion?

Exact details surrounding personnel and band line-ups for the Oasis reunion have yet to be formally announced. However, a report from The Sun alleged that original guitarist Bonehead would be playing in the series of shows, but it remains to be seen whether any other founders will feature in 2025.

The likelihood appears to be that the reunion will consist of Noel, Liam, Bonehead, and a variety of other musicians, most likely Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, which includes former Oasis members Gem Archer and Chris Sharrock.

Given how inseparable Bonehead is from that mid-1990s golden age for Oasis, his involvement in the reunion tour is fitting. After all, the guitarist has recently been performing alongside Liam Gallagher for many years, including the recent Definitely Maybe anniversary, which included stops at Reading and Leeds Festival.
