Oasis honoured their guitarist, Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs, with a moving gesture at their show in South Korea on October 21st.

Following the conclusion of their final Wembley Stadium shows in September, Arthurs confirmed he would be missing the forthcoming set of shows in South Korea, Japan and Australia to stay in the UK for treatment after being diagnosed with prostate cancer in January.

Arthurs shared that he is “responding well to treatment” and ensured fans he’ll return for the South American leg, which is due to kick off on November 15th when they play the Estadio Monumental in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

While Bonehead wasn’t in the Goyang Stadium in person on October 21st, Oasis ensured that he was there in spirit with a life-size cardboard cut-out of him on stage. Throughout the tour, they have also had a cut-out of Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, who was next to Bonehead in South Korea.

The gesture has received support from Arthurs, who shared an image of his cut-out on Instagram along with the caption, “Play it loud Amigos.”

After Arthurs announced he was taking a pre-planned break from the tour, Oasis said: “Wishing you all the best with your treatment Bonehead – we’ll see you back on stage in South America.”

Mike Moore, who previously played with Liam Gallagher’s solo band for several years after joining in 2017, is temporarily deputising for Bonehead in Oasis.

Their tour is set to resume on October 25th at the Tokyo Dome in Japan, a venue they will also play on October 26th. Oasis Live ’25 is set to conclude at the Estádio do Morumbi in São Paulo on November 23rd.

While there is no official word on whether they will return in 2026, Liam has hinted that the reunion will continue to roll into next year. He recently told a fan on X that “it’s not even HALF TIME yet it’s a tour of 2 half’s” and said  “See you next year” at Wembley Stadium in September.
