As Jack Antonoff takes charge of the soundtrack for The New Look, the full tracklist reveals an all-star calling card of musicians.

The New Look is a new historical drama on Apple TV+. Drawing from true stories, it chronicles the early lives of Christian Dior, Coco Chanel and their peers as they navigate Paris, the fashion industry and World War II.

The series’ soundtrack is being overseen by Antonoff, who has called in favours from a series of famous friends. Having written and producer for the likes of Taylor Swift, The 1975, Lorde, Lana Del Rey and hoards more, he is also currently dominating new music conversations as his band Bleachers prepare to release their new album.

Now, Antonoff has gathered an incredible lineup of artists to perform era-specific songs for the soundtrack. Long-term collaborators such as Lana Del Rey, Florence + the Machine and The 1975 are involved, performing tracks like Vera Lynn’s famous wartime number ‘White Cliffs Of Dover’.

Other notably indie and alternative names signed onto the project are Beabadoobee, Perfume Genius and Bartees Strange, as well as Antonoff’s own band Bleachers. Sam Dew and Joy Oladokun will bring their soul sounds to the tracklisting.

The most intriguing and impressive addition no doubt comes in the form of Nick Cave. While no stranger to soundtrack work as he regularly provides scores for film and TV, this will be the first collaboration between Cave and Antonoff.

The 10-episode series will premiere on Apple TV+ on February 14th. It stars Game Of Thrones breakout Maisie Williams, alongside John Malkovich, Emily Mortimer, Claes Bang and Glenn Close.
