FKA Twigs has announced she has had to cancel the remainder of her tour dates in North America due to ongoing visa issues shortly before they were set to go ahead.

Following the release of her latest album, Eusexua, in January, she began her tour last month across Europe before performing in Manchester and London. However, just before she was set to perform in Chicago, she announced she had to cancel due to issues with paperwork.

“Today I was informed that production did not fill out the correct paperwork in a timely manner for us to have our visas to come to the USA and perform,” she explained on March 25th, adding, “By no choice of my own I will have to pull out of my New York, Chicago, and Toronto shows.”

Now, she has revealed she has had to cancel the remainder of her April tour dates due to “ongoing visa issues”, meaning that her planned performances at Coachella and AXE Ceremonia will no longer go ahead.

Sharing the news on X, the singer said she was “devastated” not to be “able to see through any of my scheduled tour dates”. She also said it “pains” her to share the news because she was “excited to bring you a creation that I have poured my soul into” and “believe is amongst my strongest work”.

“I know this news impacts so many of you that have already made plans and spent money in order to see these shows,” she continued, promising that she is “working to reschedule the affected dates as quickly as possible.”

Discussing the tour previously, she said that the tour has felt “absolutely incredible” and that she feels “grateful to be just a part of such an amazing creative process” even if it has been “challenging with production and just, the more practical sides of putting this tour together” behind the scenes.

Despite directing fans to ways to get refunds, she remains hopeful about the rescheduled dates, sharing a handful of black-and-white photos of some of her favourite live moments recently.
