Ewan McGregor recently appeared in court to seek a restraining order against a 38-year-old woman named Angelica which has been granted.

The court appearance took place on February 24th, according to documents obtained by InTouch. Both McGregor and Angelica appeared remotely to testify during the hearing which regarded the Scottish actor seeking a petition for protection.

For the hearing, McGregor was represented by lawyer Evan Spiegel who helped him in his case to gain the petition against Angelica. She has been instructed to stay at least 100 yards away from the Star Wars actor and his wife, Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

Additionally, Angelica has been told to “not harass, intimidate, stalk, threaten, assault, or contact” McGregor or Winstead.

The court order stated, “The protected person and the restrained person were at the hearing or agreed in writing to this order. No other proof of service is needed.”

It is stated by InTouch that Angelica had a “compulsive and delusional fixation on” McGregor, who also alleged that she participated in worrying behaviour against family members who were allegedly stalked and harassed. It’s also alleged that she expressed threats of death about Winstead.

The filing claims: “In addition to dozens of bizarre, delusional, harassing and threatening messages to Ewan and to his family, [Angelica] drove cross-country to California, to seek out Ewan and his family, showing up at the home of [Ewan’s] ex-spouse on Christmas Eve, to gain access to them.”

Meanwhile, his lawyer Evan Spiegel added, “Her aggressive and delusional messages have since increased and she has also stated her intention to come back.”

McGregor stated in his declaration: “I am in fear from (Angelica) for my and my families’ personal safety, and that of those around me and us.”

He continued: “She does not — and I do not personally know her and have never had personal communications with her.”

It’s also that Angelica arrived at his ex-wife’s property and was angry upon being asked to leave before crashing into a wall twice after reluctantly returning to her car.

McGregor’s restraining order against Angelica is set to expire in 2030 and will also cover his children along with Winstead.
