Detroit-born poet Brendan Alpiner, also known as Dean the Dream, has been on the forefront of artists bringing rock into our modern times. His latest album Hitchin’ It to Heaven, is a vivid proof of the artist’s restless pursuit of bridging his bluesy poetics with classic rock n’ roll, moody psychedelia, and hypnotic blues. The lead single of the LP “Goodbye, Danny,” was released alongside original visuals that will further help the artist tap into bigger audiences.

The award-winning artist previously worked with the producers-engineers of The Rolling Stones, Stevie Nicks, Adele, The Arctic Monkeys, Lana Del Rey and other major figures.

The 7-track album Hitchin’ It to Heaven is Dean the Dream’s second album, following-up to Pink Sun, home to a collection of 9 songs released last year. Sexuality, freedom, death, violence and disillusionment, are some of the themes addressed over catchy, complex, sometimes brutal yet almost always beautiful soundscapes.
