Weezer and Ed Sheeran have been added to the lineup for Coachella 2025, set to take place later this month.
The festival, which will happen over two weekends, April 11th to 13th and April 25th to 27th, has added the two acts as last-minute additions to an already stacked bill, which includes Lady Gaga, Green Day, Post Malone, and Travis Scott, who take up the headline slots.
It comes as some previously announced artists, such as FKA Twigs, have had to pull out of performing. The English electronic singer was forced to cancel her appearance at Coachella and the entirety of the North American leg of her tour due to visa issues.
For the part of Weezer, their upcoming Coachella performance comes off the back of the 30th anniversary celebrations for their debut record, The Blue Album, last year. They are set to tour the UK and Europe later in 2025.
Additionally, Sheeran has released a new single, ‘Azizam’, ahead of his new album Play and his slot at the California desert festival.
Elsewhere on the Coachella lineup for this year, there are a range of hotly anticipated performances from the likes of artists such as Missy Elliot, Charli XCX, and Megan Thee Stallion.
Furthermore, Sam Fender, The Prodigy, Japanese Breakfast, and Kneecap will also make appearances over the course of the two weekends of the festival.
For those in other parts of the world looking to take in some of the biggest slots on the bill, six Coachella stages will be available to stream via their YouTube channel, or through the newly launched Coachella Livestream app.
