Billie Eilish has opened up about her love of The Beatles and listed a collection of her favourite songs by the Fab Four.

The American pop artist has expressed her adoration for The Beatles on a plethora of occasions, whether through interviews or covers, previously sharing her versions of beloved classics ‘Something’ and ‘Yesterday’.

Eilish once explained in an interview with NME how listening to The Beatles as a child provided her with a framework to become a songwriter, noting, “The Beatles were what raised me. My love for music I feel 95 per cent owes to the Beatles and Paul. It’s insane to think about.”

Now, in a new feature with British Vogue, she elaborated on her appreciation for the legendary band. In response to a question from Alex Wolff abut her favourite songs by The Beatles, Eilish initially said, “Hardest question of my life! So impossible to pick a favourite. I’m actually looking through everything right now and I literally cannot narrow it down at all.”

After a moment of consideration, she added, ‘Something’ never gets old. ‘I’m Looking Through You’ is actually one of my favourite songs ever. ‘She’s Leaving Home’, ‘In My Life’, ‘A Day in the Life’, ‘And I Love Her’, ‘Michelle’, ‘Julia’… Like, I could just go on and on. I feel bad not naming more.”

In the same interview, Eilish mentioned The Beatles again after Colman Domingo asked, “And tell me, my dear, if heaven exists, what singer or band would you like to perform upon your arrival?” In response, Eilish said: “The Beatles, definitely. Maybe Frank Sinatra.”

Eilish, who released her chart-topping third album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, last year, is set to commence a UK arena tour in July, which will visit Glasgow, London and Manchester.
