The Grammys, which will take place on February 1st in Los Angeles, have announced the performers for its annual in memoriam segment, honouring those who have recently passed away in the music community.

The Recording Academy has shared that Lauryn Hill will perform during the segment in honour of the late D’Angelo and Roberta Flack.

Elsewhere, Post Malone, Slash, Duff McKagan, and Chad Smith will pay tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away in July 2025, only weeks after the Back to the Beginning farewell Black Sabbath show was held in Birmingham.

Additionally, Reba McEntire will be joined by Brandy Clark and Lukas Nelson to honour other musical figures who passed away in 2025.

Last year, the in memoriam segment of the show included prominent tributes for One Direction star Liam Payne, country legend Toby Keith, and Quincy Jones, featuring a performance of ‘All My Love’ by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, and Grace Bowers.

In terms of other performers, Sabrina Carpenter was announced as the first to take to the Grammys stage; the ‘Taste’ singer is up for six awards on the night.

Following that announcement, it was revealed that Olivia Dean will also be attending and performing at the prestigious awards show alongside Addison Rae, the Marías, Lola Young, Sombr, Alex Warren, and Leon Thomas, who are all vying for the ‘Best New Artist’ award.

Meanwhile, Justin Bieber is set to make his first performance in four years at the ceremony ahead of his grand comeback at Coachella in April.

Looking towards the prospective winners, Kendrick Lamar has the most chance of coming out on top, as the rapper leads with nine nods, including nominations in coveted categories such as ‘Record of the Year’, ‘Song of the Year’, and ‘Album of the Year’, thanks to his 2024 surprise release, GNX.

It has also been revealed that Trevor Noah will be on hosting duties for the sixth consecutive year. However, the Recording Academy also said it would be his final time as the master of ceremonies.
