Watch the new trailer for the extended cinematic version of Nick Cave's 'Idiot Prayer' show

Nick Cave has shared a new trailer for the forthcoming extended cinematic release of his recent ‘Idiot Prayer – Nick Cave Alone at Alexandra Palace’ live show.

Performed at Alexandra Palace in London back in July, the livestreamed show saw Cave playing a full solo set on a piano.

Cave will release ‘Idiot Prayer’ as a live album on November 20, and an extended visual version of the show will be released in select cinemas in over 20 countries from November 5. This new version will include four songs that were not screened during the July livestream.

Today (September 10) a new trailer for the forthcoming cinematic version of ‘Idiot Prayer’ has been released, which opens with Cave walking to his piano in the empty hall of Alexandra Palace. You can watch the clip below.

Fans can buy tickets to the screenings of the cinematic version of ‘Idiot Prayer’ now by heading here, although North American ticket sales will be announced in due course.

Speaking to fans in July on his Red Hand Files blog after the show, Cave joked about how he tried to blag the piano that he performed the ‘Idiot Prayer’ show on for free.
