We were hyped when we heard we’d be getting new RUFUS this week, and we can gladly say the hype was well worth it because we’ve been gifted with a bop.
The Sydney trio – who their first piece music in two years last weekend – show an impressive musical progression with ‘No Place’, taking a darker, more brooding angle that shines through with their stellar production that blends house and pop and that all too familiar vocal.
Speaking on their new music, the band say âIt feels like a new RUÌFUÌS… We are inspired by our new home out here, by the people weâve met and the music weâve heard along the way. Weâve got a refreshed sense ambition and cannot wait to share our creation with the world”.
That refreshed sense ambition certainly cuts through on ‘No Place’ and if this is a sign things to come for what will be their third studio album, I’m all for it. Listen below and enjoy.
